"Shelley" is a very special girl. She was the only bitch in a litter of three from our first litter from frozen semen. She is an absolute joy to own and has the most outgoing, happy and exuberant temperament. It has often been her exuberant nature and joy of life that has been her undoing in the show ring! With her entire back end wiggling madly she quite often has trouble keeping all four feet firmly on the ground! She has matured into a mostly well behaved girl and no longer has people running in the opposite direction when we need a handler for her!
Shelley was awarded her first CC & Best of Breed at 9 1/2 mths of age and was also awarded R/U Best In Group and Best Puppy in Group the same day! Also at just 9mths of age she was awarded BEST IN SHOW & PUPPY IN SHOW at the Golden Retriever Club Open Show! After going through one of her 'Wild Child' stages, Shelley put it all together and gained her Championship title at 21mths of age with a Best Of Breed. Since gaining her Championship, Shelley has done very well in the show ring gaining 338pts and a number of Group/Show awards.

2004 - Mrs M Hean (NZ) - 1st Place Aust Bred Bitch & Opposite Sex Aust Bred In Show
In December 2002 Shelley produced a litter of 10 puppies to Am Ch Monterey Bay Eat Your Heart Out CD by frozen semen and we are very proud of the success these babies have had in the ring with 2 of them gaining their Australian Championship titles.
Shelley is only shown sparingly now and we look forward to her debut as a Veteran in 2007!
